Traci Park’s office hosted a Townhall on July 2nd, 2025 with LADWP. Where LADWP updated their programs with the Palisades. HERE is the Youtube link to watch.

There’s been a lot of chatter about SB549 and Rebuilding Authority. Sen. Ben Allen has suspended it due to community outcry. Sen. Ben Allen and Councilwoman Traci Park also appeared on PPCC July 17th board meeting. This is the latest post on the pacpalicc.org website:
At our last Board meeting on July 17, 2025, we were honored to hear from Councilwoman Traci Park and state Senator Ben Allen. The Councilwoman reported on Palisades recovery developments and her position on the proposal for a County “Rebuilding Authority.” Sen. Allen explained the original objectives of SB 549 (his bill to establish such an Authority) and his recent decision to pause the bill. He noted that he is working closely with Councilwoman Park; he explained the need for amendments, especially pertaining to governance structure; and he assured us that PPCC and the community will be engaged going forward for input. The Senator made clear that our community’s views will guide any next steps.
Team Palisades
I’ve been volunteering with Team Palisades for the last few months sharing rebuilding information. Team Palisades is a network of block captains volunteering to organize ourselves and continue the community connections. I’m currently serving as a block captain for my block on Iliff and also the neighborhood representative for the Alphabets neighborhood. HERE is the first webinar I had hosted exploring options to custom residential rebuild with Case Study 2.0, RESET, Foothill Catalog, Builders Alliance, and The Home Depot. I’m getting ready to host another one on Monday, July 19th, 2025 educating our neighbors on how to speak with LADWP: Alphabets Webinar - Pacific Palisades Underground Conversion: The Role of the Homeowner Please feel free to register for the webinar if you want to be part of the conversation. We will also be co-hosting with Ferguson an introduction to induction cooking gathering at BSH Showroom on August 6th, 5-8pm. Cocktail, hors d’oeuvres, and good company. RECRUITING VENDORS FOR PALISADES FIRE REBUILD DISCOUNTS
We in the community would appreciate more vendors who are offering discounts to the Palisades survivors to sign up. Please note that there are nearly 7,000 homes and structures were destroyed or damaged in the fire. We will all need assistance to get home. Please sign up through this LINK. Please note that this will not be a year long process. Rebuilding will take years.
